OnePlus Discontinued | Complete Truth In 2026
OnePlus once called itself the flagship killer, so the idea that it is gone from the US and Europe came as a shock.
Searches for OnePlus discontinued are up about 50 percent this week, and the headlines are mixed.
OnePlus is not shut down worldwide, but it has exited North America and Europe. It will no longer launch new products there, and it still sells in India and China.
The announcement came in July 2026, after days of rumors.
Here is what is discontinued, what still works and what it means for your phone.
Today, we will go through it step by step, so let’s dive in.
Quick Answer: Is OnePlus Discontinued?
Partly. OnePlus has left two big regions but has not closed the company everywhere.
| Question | Answer |
| US and Europe | Exited, no new products |
| India and China | Still operating |
| Warranty and updates | Promised for existing owners |
| Last US phone | OnePlus 15 |
If you own a OnePlus phone, it keeps working as normal.
The change affects where you can buy new ones.
Is OnePlus Shutting Down In The US And Europe?
Yes, in effect. OnePlus said it will no longer launch new products in North America or European countries.
Android Authority reported the news on July 16, 2026, and said remaining inventory would still be sold where demand exists.
OnePlus described it as a long term decision, not a sudden one.
Its parent company, OPPO, will keep operating in Europe and plans to expand there.

Why Did OnePlus Leave The US And Europe?
OnePlus said it is part of a broader global strategy to focus on markets where it can serve users best.
Executives said the decision “wasn’t dictated by OPPO nor made unilaterally by OnePlus,” Android Authority reports.
Sales also helped explain it. WIRED, quoted by PetaPixel, said US market share fell from 1.8 percent in 2021 to 0.1 percent last year.
Apple and Samsung held about 80 percent of the US market.
Can You Still Buy OnePlus Phones?
In the US, mostly no. PhoneArena reported that stock ran out on the US, Canada and Mexico websites.
The OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R, Pad Go 2 and Watch 4 were listed as out of stock.
Some earbuds and accessories were still available when it was written.
Third party sellers and carriers may have leftover units, so check the seller before you buy.
Will OnePlus Phones Still Get Updates And Warranty?
OnePlus says software updates, after sales service and warranty continue for existing customers.
The company also said user rights and device longevity are guaranteed.
How that support will work in practice has not been fully explained.
Is OxygenOS Being Replaced By ColorOS?
Yes, over time. OnePlus said its phones in the US will run on ColorOS in the future.
Owners can choose whether to update to the latest ColorOS, and timing depends on future announcements.
PhoneArena adds that staying on OxygenOS would mean losing future software and security updates.
Where Can You Get OnePlus Repairs?
In Europe, PhoneArena says repairs go through an OPPO service center.
In the US, support runs through the OnePlus service page.
OnePlus also planned to take down its community page on August 16.

Is OnePlus Still Available In India And China?
Yes. OnePlus India said it “continues to operate its business as usual,” and the company recently launched the OnePlus N6.
OnePlus said its China product roadmap is unchanged.
Bloomberg sources cited by PetaPixel claim OnePlus could leave India as soon as next year.
That is a report, not an announcement, so treat it with caution.
Conclusion
OnePlus is not shut down everywhere, but it has left the US and Europe for good.
Existing phones keep working, and updates and warranty support are promised.
If you want a new OnePlus in the US, stock is nearly gone, so look at other brands.
